Second Annual Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair  – FEB 27

Dear CSA Farmer!

I’m excited to let you know that The Nashville Farmers Market (NFM) and Local Table Magazine are working together again to present the Second Annual Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair at the NFM on Saturday, February 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Set up will begin at 8:30 a.m. This event will give the public a chance to meet one on one with local CSA farmers servicing Davidson and Williamson Counties.

It will be a regular market day at the market so we’ll be set up in Shed 1. Due to the unknown weather, the shed will be enclosed. If you want to bring your own heater, you are welcome too. You’ll be responsible for your own  10 x 20 booth, including table, chairs, tablecloth, and signage. We are encouraging farmers to create a display of their farms, lists of the products they grow, how they grow and where they have their pick ups.  There are several different CSA models in the Nashville area and this will give the public a chance to find the one that is perfect for them and their families.

The event will also include cooking demos on the mobile kitchen cart, a raffle and live music.

This year there will be a $20.00 fee to help us with the cost of promotion. This year we are allowing farms to sell either fresh or prepared items from their farm.  I was hoping to be able to attach the registration form from the NFM with this letter, but it’s not finished yet. I didn’t want to wait any longer, so if you are interested in attending, please let me know and when I get the registration form next week I’ll send it to you directly.

I hope you can join us this year for this fun and informational event!

Thanks so much,
