New Publication Date for Local Table
Wow – how life has gone topsy turvy! I hope everyone had a blessed holiday – no matter your faith. I also hope you and your family are safe and doing as well as you can do under the circumstances. I just wanted to give you an update on the Annual Resource Guide. We should be heading towards deadline, but since Local Table depends on small businesses to survive, it’s just not feasible to request ad money at this time. We are going to push back publication until life seems to have returned to normal business and give it a re-start!
However, if you are a farm and have not sent me your updated listing, I still need to get one. We will be doing lots of social media marketing in the next few months and I’d love for your online guide listing to be current.
A bright spot is the release this Friday of the debut of Local Table’s Special Green issue. Initially it was going to come out Saturday at Nashville’s Annual Earth Day Celebration. The celebration has been postpone until the end of June, but we are going to go ahead and release the publication digitally and distribute print copies to the natural grocers in Nashville who are still open for business.
A benefit of this insane time are all the folks turning to our local farms and those who sell local produce and meats. Local Table is so proud to help promote our local food system!
