WORKSHOP: Slow Your Roll – Establishing Your Farm Business Series
This series will begin March 1st, 2019 at noon with a presentation by Karla Kean about Things to Consider When Going into Farming . We will also hear from City of Clarksville Downtown Market Manager , Channel Lemon on how to register as a vendor with the market. Then we will wrap up the day with a Farm Tour to Blocker Farms in Robertson County.
Through the Tennessee Beginning Farmers Outreach Program, Montgomery County Extension is offering this workshop series that is farm management focused combining with production education. It is an advanced program following the 2018 Slow Your Roll to introduce the steps to establish a farm business.
TIME AND LOCATION
1st Friday of each month; March to October 2019, 12:00-1:00 pm [*Field trips are scheduled for afternoons of March 1st and May 3rd] 1030 Cumberland Heights Rd. Clarksville, TN 37040.
$15 PER SESSION, OR $80 for the entire program, lunch is provided.
