WORKSHOP: Farm Equipment Demonstrations, Information and DIY Vermiculture – 5.22.18

LUNCH & LEARN: Join us for a day on the farm. Dress appropriately as some of this event is outside.

Preregistration is recommended. Workshop fee includes lunch ($20 preregistered, $25 at the door).

This workshop is on the farm adjacent to the main campus of Tennessee State University, (see directions on left panel – 1946 Ed Temple Boulevard).

Coleman Tractor representative, Lee McHenry, will be onsite to discuss new farmer needs and choices for tractors and implements.

Dailey’s Farm and Walk-behind Tractors owner, Richard Dailey, will be onsite to discuss BCS and Hoss equipment. His operation boasts the best inventory of these units in Tennessee.

After lunch, Dr. Kudjo Dzantor will take us through setting up a vermiculture tote for creating your own vermicompost at home. This is a hands-on learning experience and the first 15 people to register will get their own tote to take home!
